Game Room Station

Can you say CHOO! CHOO! Are you an avid train collector or just love watching trains pass by? We have recently added a working train set here at The Game Room and it is such a site to see. Train collecting is such a great hobby and its a way of preserving part of our history.

Our train carts are also available for you to advertise in. If you are interested let us know so we can reserve a spot on our train for you.

Lock-In Cancelled

We would like to thank everyone for their interest in our Lock-In scheduled for tonight. Unfortunately we didn't get our required number of people. So for those who prepaid please keep the $10 gift certificate for any inconvenience we may have caused. We will schedule another Lock-In for the month of May. Please pre-pay in advance so we can continue the Lock-Ins, this will provide us time to coordinate staff and food.

Derby Lock-InG

Derby is almost here and we're kicking it off on the 29th of April. We are having a Derby Lock-In so come join us for a fun filled night that consist of unlimited console gaming, unlimited pool, direct tv and more.

Gamebulance at Thunder Town

We would like to thank Direct TV for having us join them at Thunder Town on Saturday April 16, 2011. Although the weather wasn't at its finest we had a blast. We enjoyed walking around Slugger Field and watching the Bats play. We enjoyed the sites and smells the event had to offer. Fox41 Special

We had the great pleasure of having Fox41 come out today and do a special segment on our Gamebulance and  The Game Room. This is what they had to say...

"Crestwood, KY (WDRB TV Fox 41)--It looks like an ambulance but it's more likely to show up at parties rather than hospitals.

"It's a mobile video store that is retrofitted in an actual ambulance," says the owner of the Gamebulance, Buddy Brennstuhl.

With red and white lights flashing, at first glance it sure looks like an ambulance rolling down the street.

"We rent it out for parties, weddings and even for businesses that have grand openings," says Brennstuhl.

It's not to save lives but to provide a little fun, mostly for kids. "All the emergency lights still work," says Brennstuhl, "we park it put the lights on and the kids can come in an play their favorite games, like X-Box 360 or Play Station 3."

Buddy is a former firefighter and paramedic. He says he got the idea for this unique business after suffering an injury a couple of years ago. "I broke my back at work and I was laid up for awhile," he says, "so I tried to figure out what kind of business would survive a recession and these video games seemed to be one of those things."

It proved to be a good idea. The business is doing well that he is about to invest in four more used ambulances.

Buddy who also owns the Crestwood Game Room in Crestwood admits he is a little surprised that things are going so well. "I never thought it would be at this point, one thing just led to another," he says.

Buddy says he's having fun and making a little money too."
